The Waikiki Aquarium was established on March 19, 1904 (then known as the Honolulu Aquarium). It is the second oldest aquarium in the United States. Located on the shorelines of Queen Kapiolani Park, the Waikiki Aquarium is home to more than 3500 organisms! The many exotic creatures include:
- Invertebrates
- Fishes
- Reptiles
- Marine Mammals
- Plants and Seaweeds
Within walking distance of most Waikiki Hotels, the aquarium is a great way to learn about the many unique species that are found in and around the waters of the Hawaiian Island Chain.
The Waikiki Aquarium also offers a variety of Annual Events and School Programs. Space is also available for corporate outings, wedding receptions and parties. For tickets and additional information, please visit the Waikiki Aquarium website at www.waikikiaquarium.org.
