These days "Keep The Country Country" can be found on hats, t-shirts and bumper stickers across our beautiful island chain and around the world. It is a subtle reminder.....if we do not work together, with a long-term, open-minded vision in regards to the development of the islands and the preservation of our natural and cultural areas, they can easily be lost forever.
Yesterday (April 17, 2014) was a pivotal day for the fight to preserve the north shore of Oahu. Gov. Neil Abercrombie signed an agreement that will protect approximately 700 acres, the areas from Kawela Bay to Kahuku Point, from development......forever. This agreement is an amazing accomplishment for the people of Oahu and the world.
