I highly recommend using Adam for touring Oahu. We had a great day doing and seeing what we wanted (no temples)with Adam guiding us around.
It is very safe and I recommend it highly as an alternative to an organised tour.
Make sure you buy a few beers and stop at the shrimp farm for lunch.
We will definitely do it again the next time we visit.
