"We have been on many cruises and many tours but Private Tours Hawaii was the absolute best. Communicating with Adam for a year prior to the tour was great. He always answered our emails quickly and he allowed us to customize the tour the way we wanted to. I had arranged the tour with a group from cruisecritic.com and several people wanted to see certain places which was no problem for Adam. He was absolutely great. On the day of our tour Greg our tour guide, who was awesome, started us off on a journey which was amazing. Greg was so knowledgeable of the area, the history and the culture of the island. He was like a walking encyclopedia. He knew the island like the back of his hand and he was one of the nicest people we met on our vacation. He even took us to some "secret" spots away from the tourists where the big buses couldn't go. It was great being in a beautiful van with a group of friends. The van was comfortable, clean and well maintained. During the tour Greg took us to the Iolani Palace, Kamehameha Statue, Dog the Bounty Hunter's "Headquarters", Punchbowl Cemetery, Queen Emma's Summer Home, Nu'uanu Pali Rainforest, Nu'uanu Pali Lookout, He'eia State Park, Mike's Huli Huli Chicken, Chinaman's Hat, Kualoa Ranch, Sunset Beach, the Banzai Pipeline surfing beach, Waimea Valley, Waimea Bay, Haleiwa Surfing Village, Dole Pineapple Plantations and to sample the local food at the Macadamia Nut Farm, the Kahuku Shrimp Farms and for Hawaiian Shave Ice. He even brought us to see Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles which were amazing. We could not have asked for a better tour or better tour guide. Adam and Greg - You are the best.
